Lichen & Bryophyte Surveys

Midwest Natural Resources has unparalleled experience documenting rare lichens across the state of Minnesota. Our in-house lichen expert is one of the best in the state, and he has contributed numerous lichen profiles to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Rare Species Guide.

MNR staff are also qualified to conduct bryophyte surveys. We have both laboratory and field experience working with expert bryologists. Our project experience has included the documentation and collection of general species in addition to sampling for calcareous fen vegetation monitoring.
