Invasive Species Surveys

The spread of invasive species not only threatens natural ecosystems but also creates significant costs for land managers. Locating potentially harmful species at the outset of a project can expedite proper control measures and limit further ecological impairment. Additionally, mapping existing infestations provides important information for land management decisions.

Midwest Natural Resources has conducted invasive species surveys for projects of all sizes ranging from single parcels to state parks to linear corridor projects. This work encompasses presence/absence surveys and natural resource inventories as well as pre- and post-construction monitoring.
