MNR conducted extensive biological surveys for a 70+-mile pipeline project in western North Dakota.  Following the bulk of these efforts, MNR was contracted to conduct pre-construction bird nest sweeps in accordance with the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Field crews conducted pedestrian surveys along the proposed line, identifying and marking any nests within the construction workspace. Nests were monitored to avoid disturbance throughout the construction clearing process. A shared webmap was used to provide real-time data updates to our clients.
