Dr. Robert H. Mohlenbrock is an Emeritus professor of botany at Southern Illinois University (SIU), having taught for 34 years. He has written more than 50 books and over 555 publications, including a monthly column for Natural History magazine (This Land). Upon retiring from SIU, Dr. Mohlenbrock began teaching wetland plant identification courses throughout the continental United States. To date, he has taught over 200 wetland plant identification courses in 28 states to a variety of public and private groups, ranging in experience from beginners to professional botanists.
